UIQ Technology announces partnerships with Esmertec, Penrillian and Scalado
UIQ Technology announced today Esmertec, Penrillian and Scalado as new partners in the UIQ Alliance program, adding to the many service, application and content providers worldwide who enhance the value of the UIQ product offering. Those partnerships will allow UIQ to offer new and improved Java, imaging and porting experience to its customers.

The availability of Esmertec's leading Jbedâ„¢ Advanced Javaâ„¢ Multi-tasking Virtual Machine (MVM) on the UIQ platform will enable UIQ Technology to offer its customers a powerful Java platform, on which various applications and services such as internet browsing, 3D gaming, payment services or Bluetoothâ„¢ can be created and deployed across multiple devices. In addition, the scalable Jbed platform offers UIQ Technology an easy way to integrate additional JSRs, components and features to the UIQ platform, meeting the next-generation Java umbrella standard.
