I have a Nokia 6680 that I am using for development.  I am using the S60 SDK that supports 7.0s rather than the SDK for the 6680 which uses v8.1.   This is okay because my application targets 7.0s anyway.

My recognizer works fine and autostarts my application on boot.  The interesting thing is that if I put it on the MMC card in the E:\System\Recogs directory, the 6680 launches my recognizer and my autostart app when the MMC card is inserted into the drive without having to reboot the phone.  My question is... is this standard behavior or is it something specific with 8.1 or the 6680?  I don't have another S60 phone to test this on.

Thanks

I would assume it is standard behaviour of the hot-swap MMC card technology used there.

The same thing happens also in Series 80 (Nokia 9500).
I have got the recognizer to run also when the phone is switched off and it is charging.
