is there is any memory size limit for database in a application ?

Hi Guys,

Iam developing on application which had database and very much consern over the database related. my first dought is that " is there is any limit in size for a database or we can have as long as we can " bcoz when it comes to device longer database will it be able to handle.

another thing is " is there is any ideal application size should have , i know that application sizes may vary from each other even then is there is any limit in size for an application "
