Panasonic X800 ECAM support?

Hi I seeded a panasonic X800 user with an ECAM-based version of our software (a camera-using app) and it crashes just when the viewfinder should appear. Short of buying an X800, does anyone know whether the X800 supports ECAM, or where on earth I would find this information?

The X800 is based on Series 60 2.0 (Series 60 2nd Edition, with *NO* service packs). So, start by making sure you use only APIs documented in the Series 60 2.0 SDK (nothing that exist in newer SDKs only, like 2.1/FP1, 2.6/FP2 or 2.8/FP3, will work on the X800).
