saving selected GPRS accesspoint in config file

Hello,

I am developing an application for sending some data to server.
I need to do the following.

- Prompt user for acess point selection  the very first time.

- after that, if the connection is successful - store the selection
  in some config file - so that I dun need to ask the user next time.

I know the pseudo code. but I do not know the exact function to
or what exactly to store.

How do I get all the IAP info and how can I know which one the
user selected - and what IAP info do I store in the config file.

Please let me know.
