Hi,

I've developed a server application that starts after installation of SIS file. It works all the time (even after reboot).
What there will be when user want to uninstall whole application (server and client). Will the server be automatically stopped by management software or should I stop it manually (if yes, how to do that - is there 'onUninstall' event sent?)?

cheers,
jack

Re: server and client apps
The server will be stopped automaticly by management software. In most cases all will be fine, but sometimes i've trouble with new installations (only with 6630) if secondary resources are bindet to the server (in my case RFileLogger)...
Then it is possible that after a new install-process all will be cleared, but the new files are not installed (the installer told 'all fine - install completed'). So you must install it a second time...
If you first manually deinstall it, i got no problems at all!

Hope this will help;
