communication between Symbian C++ app and appforge app

Hi my client has an appforge app, and I need to have my Symbian C++ app send his app a message. Normally I would use something like TApaTask::SendMessage or RApaLsSession::StartDocument but I guess that won't work with AppForge apps... is there any way to do this?
