I have the following problem and wondering if anyone has any ideas...

When I retreive the IMEI from P900 programatically using PlpVariant::GetMachineId()

I get: 123456-00-123456-1

However, when I use *#06#,

I get: 123456-00-123456-1-03

The last two digits never show up when doing in software retreival...

Same applies to P910 with the new IMEI format, I do get two digits at the end...

Does anyone have any idea about what this last number means and where does it come from?  Can it be determined programatically?
