Hello, We are using a CEikEdwin editor and would like to have the amount of characters currently entered displayed in the Navi-Pane (Just like when you create a new SMS message). Unfortunately it would seem editor indicators have priority over all other indicators so that rules out creating a new Navi-Decorator with the required text. Does anyone know how to remove the current editor indicator and then add text to it? Any help much appreciated Dushyant Gaur |

I've also hit this problem.
The following link explains how to add text to the navipane:
http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/TSS000458_-_Inserting_text_or_an_icon_on_the_navi_pane_of_an_application
Unfortunately any added text disappears when the editor control receives focus
(i.e. when the [abc] appears).
Any idea on how to fix this?
Basically I want the normal [abc] indicator to be displayed at the same time as any text I add to the navipane.
Thanks.
Paris.
