how to send sms in 3rd?

hi, all

CSmsClientMtm is not a part of 3rd, CSmsHeader is not a part of 3rd too, then how to send a sms? i search document, find RSendAs class can do this work, but how to receive?i do not know to do it. CMsvSession still exist, so it can do it too. what are those stops? plz give me the approach.

Thanks Eric,

Using this article, now i able to send SMS.

Now i want to read incomming SMS & if that came from any perticular number, i want to read text body of that sms and write that text in .txt file.

I found couple of examples on this site. But i just want to know that is ther any easier methos in Symbian v9 as there is easy method for sending sms like "RSendAsMessage".

Hi,

Download the SMS example from forum nokia www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/5f17ccde-249e-4c7d-ace9-980095ea5db1/S60_Platform_SMS_Example_v2_0_en.zip.html, that example targeted to both 2nd and 3rd edition. And it uses both RSendAs and CSmsClientMtm. Check it once.
