Hi

I've been trying to get an overview of how connectivity between a Symbian device and a PC works for 9.x devices but am a bit confused what all the pieces are and how they all fit together. Does anybody know of a good overview document that describes what QI Connect, Nokia Connect, M-router, SCOM, SyncML are used for in the big picture of how connectivity works.
I've heard that the book "Programming PC Connectivity Applications for Symbian OS" is out of date and not relevant any more, is this correct, is that any other new book?

Re: QI Connect, Nokia Connect
The last Symbian based phone from Nokia that used the Intuwave originated m-Router (QI) stuff was the 6600 (released some 4 years ago).

After that, the Nokia PC connectivity has for synchronization been based principally on SyncML over OBEX.

There's a PC Suite Connectivity API "kit" on Forum Nokia (v1.1 on the public side and v3.0 on the Forum Nokia PRO).

I think Sony Ericsson/UIQ still uses the m-Router.
