license file while installing Sis

Hi All

I am using 9.1(3rd edition).

Problem:
While insttalling my application the license file
displayed.

license File is displayed correctly for english text.But for arebic text it displayed garbage or some ascii characters.

I use following code in pakage file

{
"AppName_EN.lic"
"AppName_AR.lic"
}- "c:\private\A0012345\AppName.lic" ,FT,TA

This code is working fine for lower edition.


Note:If you open this file from browser then it displayed fine.

Hi,

I noticed the same. An arabic license file that displayed OK on Symbian 8.x phones is displaying garbage on Symbian 9.x phones.

I have not tried this yet, but what should help is changed the BOM header of the unicode file (if there was no BOM, put it there or remove it if it was there before).

replys to my post.

Can you provide some detail about BOM Header ?,

How to add it ?  and Where to add  it in unicode file or in pakage file ?

I searched BOM Header in SDK but i didn't get anything except long form.

BOM - Byte Order Mark

If anyone knows  about my problem then reply
me soon .
