App Icon after FILERUN, RUNINSTALL

hi all,

i wan to start my application autmatic after the installation and tried the FILERUN, RUNINSTALL option in my pkg file.

this works finde, but if the app starts automatic after the installation, the application icon will not be shown. i have to close and restart the app and the application icon in the context pane appears.

hmmm, why?

i changed the order of the installation. the aif file will now installed before the app file, but the problem is the same.

can anybody help me?

Do you've tried to install your app as last file (after X.rsc, X_caption.rsc & x.aif) ?

Yes, the app file is the last installed file. I read in an other thread that the reason could be, that my application is not registered at the application server immediately after the installation. That makes sense, because if i start the application manually the app icon will be shown (the app icon will be shown too, if i replace the app instead of a new installing).

Now is my question: Is there a way to register my app explicit at the application server, to solve the icon problem?
