i need to record audio in 6600. by default it supports AMR but my requirement is Ogg. is ogg encoding possible in symbian?. what is diff b/w Ogg,AMR. which one is best when i move to newer symbian versions.
i saw ogg vorbis MMF version for symbian 6600. it seems support only decoding Ogg. so i have to port existing sources symbian. is that rite? or is there ogg encode versions available for symbian.

AFAIK, AMR is supported natively on all (or most) Symbian devices, whereas Ogg doesn't seem to be supported on any of them.
As for the formats themselves, use google.
