When this was formed and announced it was never said what the team are for or what they do. Nor 18 months later does it say anything nor have I heard anything. Eric, you're a member, what's the purpose of the Symbian team? Thanks |

On the contrary, the "FN Champion" scheme is quite active and interesting. I hope it will continue this way

I have been working on symbian c++ from the start of my career. After completing my engineering i worked on Epoc ER5 devices and then after 6 month from there i was working on symbian series60,uiq, and communicator for nokia and sony erricsson devices.
It's been a very dreadful working on symbian in the initial starting year. But i don't know wht Symbian is doing for the Professionals who are working on its OS.
I have completed my 3 years of programming experience in symbian this year. But still not satisfied with its development.
Plzzzzzzzzzzz
Have a look in ths regard. Will be good if Symbian's future.

Symbian focus is on its licensees rather than the application developer which has to deal with UIQ or Forum Nokia.

hi,
nice to know that u love symbian so do i,
but the real change for public developers is to make things work which are internal to the sdk ..
try to switch profile or write a device driver or fsy with public sdk ... to strengthen more knowledge than wht u get in a partnered company...
