Hi all,

I've want to develop an application where we would be doing a switch between networks.  This is how it goes....

If i'm on an IP call over GPRS, and my mobile enters a wi-fi enabled area, it must immediately switch into the wi-fi network.

I have a doubt on this because i'm on an IP call already, meaning that my Mac ID is already associated with an IP Address.

Now when i discover a wi-fi hotspot, and i try to register to it, the HotSpot is going to give me another IP address to bind to my MAC ID.

Is this possible??? If yes, how do we do this???

I would love it if someone replies to this query!!!:D

Can one MAC ID be associated with two IP addresses???
Thanks in advance...
Ashwin..........

The Cruise is on...

IPv6 support this sort of a scenario (needs an IPv6 infrastructure, of course).

In any case, you can also take a look at, e.g., Birdstep's Mobile IP client:
