HTTP Buffering

Hi all, I'm downloading a text file from the internet and then using the text to scroll across the screen as a ticker. Is there any way i can buffer the text that comes in so that it doesn't overflow... Or is it not needed at all!!! If it can be done, please tell me how to go about it! Thanx... Ashwin...
