Yet an other Linux distribution for OpenMoko, but you have to compile it by your own first ... on your phone or desktop ... what about inside the emulator ?

NewLC is happy to share an other debian package of mobile emulator based on qemu, couple of weeks ago it was android-emulator, now it's about OpenMoko time.

openmoko_small.jpgAnother fully open source-based phone has gone on sale, offering developers the chance to build their own mobile Linux applications.

The Neo1973 is the first mobile phone to be designed to run the open source operating system OpenMoko. Officially launched to developers yesterday, it is the second fully accessible Linux phone to be made available after Trolltech released its Greenphone last year.
