PhoneInfo is a free utility for Symbian S60 that displays several technical information about your phone: IMSI, IMEI, WLAN Id, Phone Id, S60 version, CPU, memory, screen resolution, available fonts, etc...

Dear Mr Head of Developer Support at Nokia, please find attached a patch targeted at the S60 3rd FP2 SDK to allow the poor developers that we are to be able to compile our application without hundred of lines of warning. There are probably other defects in the SDK as I cannot check all files but at least this is a first start.

Here is a cool and free plugin for Carbide.c++ developped by two students of the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences and Andreas Jakl. The plugin will automatically give you the description of any panic that occurred in the emulator !

Y-Browser is a filebrowser application designed for S60 3rd edition devices (Symbian OS 9.x). Earlier releases include also versions for 1st and 2nd edition, but since 0.80 only 3rd edition devices are supported. This is due some API's that are only supported in 3rd edition.

Penrillian has recently released a simple (and free) tool to make SIS files out of your own content. The application is totally straightforward to use: pickup the file you want to install on your phone (music, video, pictures, documents), select the phone family target and the file name of your SIS file and press OK!
