Samsung Innovation Quest

The Samsung Innovation Quest is a contest to find new exciting applications for mobile devices. The contest is divided into two branches, Professional and Academic:

1. the Professional contest is an open topic, open OS (S60 3rd Edition FP2 or Windows Mobile 6) based application development competition targeting individual developers, teams and application developing companies.

2. the Academic contest is an ideas contest for LBS, Web2.0, Widget and any other innovative applications targeting University students studying within Europe.

The contest opened 1st October and entries have to be submitted by 23rd November. The total prize fund available in respect of the Contest is €240,000 which can be shared between up to 24 winners depending on the quality of the submitted applications.

Judging criteria include uniqueness, commercial usability of the project (both for the professional and academic entries) and applicability (for the academic only).
