Finally Google is able to show a first working implementation of its Android platform... And this is definitely not the sexiest phone on earth. Some nice transition effects but still far from (my) expectations. Here is a short video of a prototype which looks very close to the reference design found in the Android SDK:

Cool, Google homepage on a dish sized "phone" Smiling I'm not convinced about the platform itself but given Google's size and history (most of their projects have succeed) they are a clear competitor for Symbian, Windows and iPhone. It is sad, however, that this new platform makes the smartphone industry yet a bit more fragmented.

I think google is trying to make a platform which is a decade behind, for eg : if u see the menu, it i sliding one which used to be in older phones.
No grid view, and i dont think the platform is any better than other available platforms, there is absolutely nothing new Sticking out tongue.
And biggest worry is security since google knows in and out of the software they don't hesitate to use the cellphone data for their search purpose.A complete waste product this one is Sticking out tongue.
