Symbian Exchange and Exposition, the new name for the Symbian Smartphone Show, has started this morning at Earl's Court, London. With no almost no news and a significantly smaller expo, this looks a bit frightening for Symbian and its community.
No major announcement - actually almost no announcement at all. Half of the visitor coming from Nokia or the Symbian Foundation. Symbian is not making the buzz this year compared to some other mobile operators.
More annoying, there is just not much to look at. Qt is an interesting move for its cross-platform ability. But so far I have not seen anything really convincing but slow and memory hungry demoes. We will have to wait a bit more to see Orbit and DirectUI in action. These are due for Symbian^4 (July 2010) and are quite critical to see Symbian compete with iPhone or Android fancy GUI abilities.
Let's hope that the SEE 2010 - if any - will be more interesting or Symbian can expect hard time to fight the competition.

is Symbian finished
I do'nt think so , It will be new start for symbian
