N97 is now available on Nokia Remote Device Access facility. I have taken the opportunity to use this to run a small "Phone Information" utility we use at NewLC (and that we will deliver to you soon) and here are a few figures that might be of interest:

  • Device CPU is clocked at 432Mhz
  • Total RAM is 120MB (but available RAM was around 50MB... I did not check what was running on device and maybe the RDA client is using significant portion of it).
  • Device has a significant storage: 73MB internal flash and 30 GB internal disk (on drive E:) plus additionnal MicroSD support (up to 16MB on drive F:).

Finally they have crossed 400 mark Smiling but still behind 620Mhz mark of iPhone Cool ... with 423MHz Nokia manages so many applications is a great thing if you compare same with iPhone...

Small typo. You should read 432. That's still not iPhone but being reactive with less Mhz also means better battery life.
