The installation file appears to be damaged
admittedly, T download (from newlc) seems erratic
tried it several time, either nothing happens for several sec. & then the whole pack comes down @ once (Hi-speed, w/in specs) or vice-versa

Is it possible to query the device's phone number, network and location ? I have been looking all through the API documentation and can't find any reference to how to do it, but it must be possible.
you can use the etel.lib gsmbas.lib
and include these files:
etel.h and etelbgsm.h
from the communicator sdk.
it is compatible with the series60.
It can give you access to the network info, but for retieving phone number it cannot be done. There isnt any API for this.

loaded up the app in my 6600 (V 3.42.1, 16-10-03, NHL-10), installed it and fired...
the screen flashes for a sec w/ what i assume is the main page of the app and then returns back to menu!
tried rebooting too...pls advise!
I got the same error on my 6600. To fix it install the app on the internal memory, not on the memory card....
Worked for me.. =)

In order to do makesis sysinfo60.pkg under S60 SDK 2.0 one have to fix the paths in the pkg file.
Compile and link the app then find where are the .app and .rsc files located and fix the paths in the pkg file
