Is ZeepPlayer supposed to work in Symbian 9.1 UIQ 3?

Imported the header files into my project in Carbide.c++
Copied the .lib & .dll into my emulator directories

... and got the wonderfully descriptive error message 'Application couldn't be started' from my emulator Puzzled

I mean, is there a difference between accessing the audio layer in a Sony Ericsson UIQ phone and a Nokia Series 60 phone?
