Symbian Imaging in Sweden ! to € 70k

We are looking for a strong C / C++ Symbian / S60 software engineer to come and take a lead role based in Sweden. You will be working on the development of an exciting new area of mobile multimedia technology based around image processing / video. We are keen to hear from excellent Symbian C / C++ Software Engineers who consider themselves fast learners, if you have previous exposure to imaging or image processing, that is ideal, if not, you must have the ability to pick it up quickly. Any exposure to JPEG manipulation or JPEG orientated development would be highly beneficial. You will be tasked with the optimization of low level code for mobile devices and so you must be comfortable development fantastic code within memory constrained environments. We need engineers who have been developing technologies for embedded systems and are able to pick up novel technologies rapidly. We will also ask for demonstrable evidence of your problem solving skills and abilities. This is a world class development team and we will be looking for world class engineers. Based in Sweden you will be liaising with colleagues around the world, there will also need to be periodic trips to London (infrequent). This is a great opportunity to work on an absolute up to the minute 3G technology project and be a part of the establishment of an awesome team of developers at their inception !
