Together with handset and silicon vendors, we create next generation Open OS-based smartphones. To accommodate our growth, we are looking for smart, open-minded individuals, who share our vision of excellence in software design and development, to join our software development team in Paris.

JOB ROLE
--------

You have a solid C++ development experience, preferably in Symbian OS, Mobile Linux or PDA environment. You will design, implement, integrate and test applications, middleware and/or software components for next generation smartphones.

Depending on your skill set and taste, you may be involved in one of the following areas: User Interface and middleware components, mobile digital TV (DVB-H, ESG, etc.), Voice over IP (VoIP, SIP, etc.), security and crypto (DRM, PKI, etc.), audio and video codecs, device drivers, cellular platform protocols and interfaces (3GPP, AT, etc.), and more.

REQUIREMENTS
------------

- You have a minimum 2 year experience in C++ object-oriented programming, preferably in Symbian OS, Mobile Linux or PDA environment
- Solid practice of associated development tools (Carbide, CodeWarrior, Visual C++, Eclipse ...)
- Good practice of the English language is a requirement.

IDEALLY (Preferred qualifications - experience in any of the following areas is a plus but not mandatory)

- Software development experience with Symbian OS UI framework: S60, UIQ, MOAP,...
- Software development experience with another mobile framework: Open Handset Alliance Android, Trolltech QTopia, Palm, Access Linux Platform, Windows Mobile, BREW, TTPCom Ajar
- Familiar with main multimedia (MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, AAC, JPEG, RTSP, RTP, RTCP) and communication standards (IP, TCP, UDP, ...)
- Working experience with debugging tools (JTAG, TRACE32, GDB, ...)
- Working experience with configuration management tools (Perforce, CVS, ...)
- Working experience with defect tracking systems (BugZilla, Team Track, ...)
- Experience with ARM-based hardware platforms (TI OMAP, STMicroelectronics, Freescale, Marvell, Intel, ...)
- Experience with key wireless protocols (3GPP, GSM, UMTS, CDMA), cellular chipsets and wireless protocol stacks (TI, Qualcomm, EMP, Freescale, Infineon, Philips, TTPCom, ...), AT Commands. You have implemented a TSY, a RIL and/or communication protocols.
- You have worked for mobile phone manufacturer, semiconductor vendor, design house or mobile software component vendor
- Fluent English Language
