Site update - missing features.

Hi! See you have updated the site some. Its probably all good, though, in the update one feature from the forum I use every time I check it has disappeared, and been replaced by a much less usefull feature for me. I'm talking about the "new replies" button. Before the update it was "new replies to my posts" and included all replies in all threads where I had been active. Now it is "new replies to my topics" and only shows me replies in threads I initiated... This is ofcourse not very usefull at all for someone like me that mostly replies to other peoples problems, and rarely write a new thread... Could you please bring that feature back? Its a bit hard to keep track of all threads I have replied in without it... |

And.. could you also tell me how I edit posts in this forum now?
I try go to the "Edit" pane, where I can edit it, but I cant find out how to save the edit...
I tried the buttons, but they did nothing, took me back to the thread, but no changes in the post.
Also tried just switching back to the "view" pane, but still no changes...

Yes, there is a bug right now which prevent editing articles. This is being fixed (at least I hope so).
And we will check the first issue you raise about the "new replies to my posts" - I don't see any reason why we couldn't restore this feature).

You should now be able to edit your post & articles. This was an issue with a cache feature that we have temporarily disabled. Hoping that the server can live without it.

I think this page is what your need: http://www.newlc.com/user/alh/track
It tracks all content (forum topics / articles / news ...) that you have created or that you have replied to.
This is sorted by update datetime, and you will see a red new for contents (or responses) that you have not read yet.
I'm working on another similar page but more integrated with the forums.

Nice one that tracking page.
You should though add a link to it more visible, had no idea it was there.
Maybe one next to the other quick links to "new posts"...
One problem with that tracking page though:
Also my own posts show up as "new", so I have to read the thread once more before I know if the "new" is my own or really a new post...

Ok, I have added the "Topics you have posted in" feature, with a "Mark as read" button.
This replaces the useless "New replies to your topics" feature
Thanks a lot for your feedback alh
