UIQ3 seems to me to be rather weak with fonts. To start with, the UIQ3 phones that are on the market today have exactly *one* font built-in. Not much to change then, anyway, except font size.
Furthermore, there are several controls that do not allow you to change the font, or can do so only with problems. As far as I know, the choicelist is among them.
