Problems running code on the emulator

I've got a multi-functional application, doing lots of things, however when running it on the emulator the following functionality does't work:
Is it a bug with Symbian?

- I try to make a phone call but it can't connect
- I want it to programatically take a photo, but all the photos taken come out all black
- The location tracking seems to have a defect in the Symbian implementation - it always reports back the same coordinates.
- The vibration API doesn't work - my computer remains totally unmoving when I invoke this API
- The motion/tilt API doesn't work, even if I throw the PC on the floor.

Please help.
