Performance of SetRecentListL

Hi,

I am using CLogViewRecent::SetRecentListL API for reading the calllog database. Performance of this API is very bad when native UI shows zero entries. [Go to Missed Call, Dialed Calls and Received Calls tab and do a clear list]. This API seems to take around 90 ms in such case. Do we have any way of improving the performance? Or do you know of some alternative method for reading log?
