Is it possible to use the same developer certificate for two products?

We have one developer certificate, which works for one of our products. I tried to use it to sign our other product. When I tried to install the produced SIS file to the mobile, I got "update error". Is this because a different developer certificate is needed for every product? Or is it possible to use the same developer certificate for two different products?

Yes u can..

First remove the previous application manually then install your application
