Hi All,
I am developing an application for S60.it is a calling card app,i am using CTelephony and for GUI setting page.
Actually my problem is i want to know if an application is possible in S60 will it be possible for UIQ also ? I mean i want to know all the parallel APIs will be available for UIQ or not?
m novice for UIQ so plz guide me and send some link for UIQ if possible.

No, of course not *all* S60 APIs have an equivalent on UIQ, but most of them, basic things like telephony included of course.

For me, there is one question a little more pressing: Right now there is considerable uncertainty concerning the long-term future of UIQ as a platform. Worst case could be that in two years time no new UIQ phones will appear and the platform will be essentially a thing of the past. (Of course, best case could be that the new, open and unified Symbian is binary compatible not only with S60, but also with UIQ3, and all is well for UIQ programs...)

Maybe a good idea to wait a few weeks more until the dust settles before committing substantial development resources into a *new* UIQ project, IMHO...
