How to acquire System Capabilities?

Hi,

I want to use MultimediaDD Capability in my application. Which is not the part of user capabiltiy set, and is not been provided by the DevCertRequest tool as well. so My questions are:

1. Can i use the MultimediaDD capability in my application, and after signing the application with developer certificate (which does not this capabilty), can run one developer device only. And once my application goes fine, can get a approval from OEM, before getting it signed for all other devices.

2. If first question answer is no, then how can i get/purchase multimediaDD capability. Please guide.

It should be possible to request devcerts for it through "Open Signed" (offline or online) as long as you have purchased a Publisher ID.

Then you have to get it "Certified Signed" (including testing at a test house), to release it. (also required Publisher ID ofcourse)

I havn't tried requesting MultimediaDD in practice though, but that is what this very useful doc "The Complete Guide to Symbian Signed" has taught me: http://developer.symbian.com/main/signed/
