Have only USB modem, can I setup Internet access for UIQ3?

Hi,

I have an ADSL USB modem. No Ethernet ports. Is it still possible to access Internet from UIQ3 simulator using ADSL USB modem only or do I have to have a MAC address?
I say, with NetBeans developing for MIDP I am quite able to access Internet with Sony Ericsson J2ME suite using my USB modem. But how to configure for UIQ3? It seems to require Ethernet adress in the config program.
I can try other options RAS etc but first I would like to clarify if I can use my USB modem. Or do I have to buy a modem with Ethernet connector for that purpose.
