Getting location info of Nokia S60 symbian phones??

Hi,
I want to find the location of a mobile having symbian v9.X. that means the API i should use, should return the location string/Cell ID/LAC from the mobile itself, not depending on any external application/service which provides the info to my application. The mobile should be taken as an independent device with conected to some network providers like Airtel/Vodafone etc and no GPS, A-GPS facility available in it. will it be possible to get the mobile location from the mobile using some APIs? which APIs provide those info?

Is there any core symbian API which returns the locational info about the mobile?

plz suggest with good pointers/code snippets and libary in recent phones with the above OS...

This is something like a FAQ here. Just use some "critical" words like "location string" or "location info" with the forum search box in the upper-right and you will find a large number of informative posts about this. Will keep you busy for the rest of the day Eye-wink

SanjayKhuntia: You can directly get these examples, once you will install the SDK. under s60Ex folder there are good number of Location application examples to start with. Smiling
