I would like to know:
Does the method CTelephony::GetCurrentNetworkInfo() get the network information which already exists on the device
or
does it initiate a network signal which retrieves that information?
The network information are found on the device and reflects the status of the device on the network (thus a network is required so that they are significant but no specific signal is emitted because of your request).
