Find box - first letters then numbers

Hi
on nokia E61:
I use the code in wiki example to create a list box with a find box:

It works fine, but after a while when I open the view,
letters which worked well (such as 'g') start to give me numbers ('5' instead of 'g') with no option to change it back to letters.

What could cause this weird behaviour??

Looks like text input mode is changed to numeric. Try Pressing '#' key for long and then try typing. It should change the mode back to alphanumeric.
