Developing C#.NET application for Symbian OS

Hi All, Since I never got a chance to develop application for mobile OS ,I don’t have any idea to develop application for Symbian. Requirement: I would like to develop a small component in C#.NET to search in the contacts of a mobile phone which is using Symbian OS. Regards |

Don't assume that you can program for Symbian phones in C# using .NET. At the moment there is no in-built support for .NET in any Symbian phone.
There is a company separate from Symbian and Nokia which implements a version of the .NET compact framework on top of S60, 3rd edition. The product is currently in beta:

I don't know how difficult or how easy it us to search contacts with the methods that this framework offers. And whether this product will be successful and reach any decent market share will be seen.

AppForge Crossfire i.e. the company behind it is dead, and the product likewise.
