Detect incoming call while transmitting data over tcp/ip on Nokia 6682

All, I am a hobbyist working on a Nokia 6682 and I have figured out how to monitor the incoming calls while there is no data transfer taking place but can not do this while I am actively transmitting packets. My initial research leads me to believe that it may not be possible but I have to be sure for my own sanity. If anybody knows whether this is possible please help me. Also is it the network or the hardware that is limiting it if it is not possible. I appreciate any and all responses especially the timely ones Thanks in advance Also, Eric great site, it has helped me tremendously throughout my development. This is the first thing that I have not been able to track done concretely on your site. I must say without your site this attempt would have been abandoned long ago. Thanks much and keep up the good work! |

Paul,
Thank you for your response, I actually have been to that site and never saw that listing because I was so focused on how to do it and not if it was possible. This is exactly the information that I need to preserve my sanity. So it appears that I have a Class B phone that can not do both simultaneously and that would prevent an incoming call notification from being received at all.
Thank you very much.

You can do this over a 3G connection only (and you won't have anything special to do to handle this special case).

Thanks Eric,
I did kind of presume this from research I have read, but I wanted to be sure, you and Paul have confirmed my suspicions.
Thanks again!
