found that a log file is getting created when i am trying to open carbide in nokia folder , i m pasting contents from it , let me know if u can suggest something from it

When you are getting this error. Can you tell me in details. It looks like you are getting error due to JRE.
How you are importing bld.inf file.
you need to start carbide.C++ then
select File -> Import -> symbian OS Bld.inf file then press Next. After that select bld.inf file from group folder of your application then select Next. then select SDk and again Next then .mmp file after this press fineshed.
my IDE is still not opening up..... i installed the same at other PC and it worked fine ...but not getting to work on my laptop.. i think there is problem with jre as pointed earlier , can anyone
plz guide me which jre needs to be installed ? or any other java installation required for carbide 1.3 , thanks
just to answer RB_sahu ... i am not able to import bld.inf because my IDE is not opening up to do anything ... i think the IDE code is not compiling up because of incorrect java installation on my pc .......[b][i]

Hi,
I follow same sequence and always it works for me.
you remove folder (Nokia, Java) from program files and also delete folder from C:\Nokia and C:\symbian. Then install in same sequence.
