Blending images with camera

Hello !

I'm having some trouble with the camera; I would like to render a static image above the camera image (displaying an image on top of everything and the camera can be seen in the background) with bitmap masking. I know this is possible when using the bitmap viewfinder, but this application also has to work on Sony Ericsson mobiles which only has support for DSA viewfinder (StartViewFinderDirectL). So, now to my question; is it possible to do this with the DSA viewfinder ? If not, is there another way ?
