Objective of Position
As a J2ME Developer you will create, define and develop well defined apps/games for mobile phones using various cutting-edge technologies and also be able to port the games into different standard handsets.
Responsibilities · Developing/deploying Mobile apps/games in J2ME. · Converting the Game Designer’s vision to product by turning ideas and concepts into carefully designed and well-authored code. · Architect, program, and debug high quality code on a tight schedule. · Writing clean, reusable, space and time efficient code. · Creating functional prototypes. · Testing and Documentation. · Working with designers to assess the viability of new features and the potential impact on an overall project plan. · Providing status reports to the Lead Developer during all phases of the production cycle. . Following all provider and language standards
Requirements · Excellent object-oriented design and analysis skills. · Expertise Java programming, C/C++ will be an advantage. · Highly documentation-oriented, engineering approach to problem solving, and an ability to anticipate and prevent problems. · Solid knowledge of software development principles and practices. · Solid understanding of performance analysis and software optimization. · Both client and server-side programming ability. · Knowledge of user interface design and development. · Desire to ship quality games, on budget and on-schedule. · Ability to research and learn new tools and methods as needed. · Desire to learn more about the emerging world of wireless game development. · Required qualification is BE/MCA/BSc or equivalent degree with atleast 6months - 1 year J2ME exposure.
