Full time position Principal SW Developer for embedded Smartphone System with SYMBIAN OS
Required Experience: BS or MS in CS or equivalent 5+ years experience with SYMBIAN or real time OS based embedded systems
The applicant should be firm with: embedded systems using Symbian or real time OS, Board Support Package for Symbian or real time OS, Driver Development for Symbian or other OS, Application and GUI Development for Symbian (e.g. UIQ, Series 60,80) or other OS ARM based Processor Experience (e.g. ARM9, TI OMAP) Development Tools (e.g. Visual C++, CodeWarrior for Symbian, Borland C++ Builder)

Duties: The applicant will be responsible for the software of the embedded smartphone system. The applicant will port a board support package, will design drivers and applications for a SYMBIAN OS based embedded system, code it, integrate it, download it to the target hardware, debug it, test it and document it. The applicant will enhance file system and boot loader. The applicant will enhance the GUI e.g. with new applications and benchmarking applications. The applicant will manage and control the Software Releases.
