Browser Control and porting PhoneGap for it

Hi,

Has anyone had success with Browser Control (embedded webkit)? We made some initial experiments with it and it was horribly unstable.

We'd like to port PhoneGap for Series 60: http://groups.google.com/group/phonegap/browse_thread/thread/7ce33fcca63aca7e

PhoneGap is like Nokia's Web Run-Time technology, except it's 1) cross-platform and 2) open source. It would be trivial to target iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Series 60 with the same HTML+Javascript based application if we get PhoneGap running stable on Series 60 (and Browser Control).

BrowserEngine requires lot of memory to work.
Set EPOCSTACKSIZE to atleast 16MB in your project file and try.

And yes, it is very unstable anyway;)
