Hi, i updated my firmware from 3 to v5.0638.3.0.1. now i have a problem. the fexplorer does not work properly on it .e.g. -- i can't mark any of the files, and when i try to do it, the fexplorer shuts down.

hi all, im from kuala lumpur, malaysia.

Recently i bought a nokia phone (n70) from nearest dealer(KL). after some check, i assume that the phone from T.mobile (the inside sticker state it!)the phone version was v 5.0616.2.0.3,

ok after a few days..i upgraded it to the upper version through nokia firmware updater.

But later i found out that the v 5.0616.2.0.3 downgraded to v 5.0609.2.0.1,

As mentioned by most ppl, nokia n70 once upgraded cannot downgraded.So what happened to my phone?

Can anyone tell me what is going on around? Tq.

I upgraded my software via the Nokia Software Updater, now running V 5.0616.2.0.3 but the phone randomly reboots itself. Anyone have any ideas how to roll back to a previous version. I noticed above theres a newer version, but when using the Nokia updater it says I already have the most recent firmware.

update your firmware agin a new firmware has been released that addresses this problem known as v5.0638.3.0.1 18-09-06 RM-84

hi all , please help , i have a little problem with my n70 , when i set it on silent mode , the sound of the camera still works , but recently i ve seen a vodafone live n70 ,that not emit a sound from camera when it is in silent mode , :o ,so its litlle problem ,but for me its very big beacaus when im in reunion , and i want to take snaps from slides of ppt , or somthing like that everybody hear the clik of camera and looks at you , please help this iis my email :karim28ci@hotmail.com , i waiting for you thanks

Hello everybody, I just updated my N70 (thanks Nokia Phone Software Update http://europe.nokia.com/A4176089) from fw 3.0546.2.3 to fw 5.0616.2.0.3. My colleague still have old fw 3.0546.2.3. Problem is : While I record video on the best quality (mp4, 352x288) during recording video on my display freezes, it is very very slow, it is very slow during the zoom and so... (refresh on video capturing is very very slow) But my colleague with old fw 3.0546.2.3 can record video on his N70 without freezes, it runs fast, with no problems. It is possible to record video for him nice and fast with the same resolution (mp4, 352x288) I see the last firmware has a lot of new nice features and improvements (e.g. mediaplayer...) but video recording is most important for me. Please, can You help me, how can i downgrade the firmware? Or how can I solve my problem? My colleague and I have the same phone N70, with the same card kingston 1GB, but he has fw 3.0546.2.3 and now I have fw 5.0616.2.0.3. Please help!!! It's very important for me! Thanks forward

You need to go to the Nokia Care Center as they are authorized to keep and update the firmwares. You can not do it yourself unless you are familiar with flashing knowledge provided you have the tools for flashing your phone which cost around US $200 to US $350 US per flashing box. And downloading of firmware in anycase is illegal.
