The package you are using is for S60 2nd edition and you try to integrate in a S60 3rd edition SIS file. We have not delivered any public version of EzBoot for S60 3rd Edition..... there is now an official API to start application on boot on S60.

both pkg file and ezboot-S60.sis files are in the same directory .. still ia ma getting the same error.

Put ezboot-S60.sis in the same directory as your pkg file.

while creating sis file i am getting following error

N:\SENDSMS\sis>makesis SENDSMS.pkg SENDSMS.sis
Processing SENDSMS.pkg...
SENDSMS.pkg(39) : error: SISfile error.

at line number 39 i have entry

@"ezboot-S60.sis",(0x101FD000)

could anyone tell me the solution to this problem?

hi...
i m trying to use your application for S60 v2.. (Nokia 6680)
my target file is .app and not .exe...

wil your application work for it?
i tried it .. but it was in vain...

of course... just put a boot file for each application you need to start.

I am having the same problem with an N70. I couldn't start the simpliest python application (created as sis file). The program freezes. Have you found the solution for the pys60/ezboot problem ?

Any chance to get the startup delay customizable ? That will be a killer feature since 45 seconds is unacceptable for some applications...

I tried to implement autostart for a Python App on Nokia 6600 and N70 which didn't work (app always showed up with icon etc. but didn't "really" start). Tracking down the problem I came to the result that I can't even autostart Python (1.3.18 - actual version from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pys60) itself - putting

boot:\system\apps\Python\Python.app

into the .boot-file started Python but not the default.py. The only working option was "Close".

Any ideas? Thank you!

hi , i can use ezboot in my applications but in my program give me error . i use carbide 1.1 ide . i download ezboot.sis file and put in sis folder . i make Myapp.boot file in that file boot:\system\apps\Myapp\Myapp.app this file also put in same sis folder . In .pkg file i add this "Myapp.boot" -"!:\system\programs\Myapp.boot"@"ezboot.sis",(0x101FD000) then i give error

sis/Myapp.pkg(33) : error: file not found make: *** [C:/Symbian/Carbide/workspace/Myapp/sis/Myapp.sis] Error 1

then i use this

"c:\symbian\carbide\workspace\Form\sis\Form.boot"-"!:\system\programs\Form.boot" @"ezboot.sis",(0x101FD000)

then give me error in second line @"ezboot.sis",(0x101FD000)

if i select build configuration--> S60 2.1 Phone (ARMI) Release in carbide .

if i Select build configuration--> S60 2.1 emulator Debug then it dosen't give any error but Myapp.sis file not created .

plz told me .why? plz reply me .
