Dynamic identification at runtime?

Has anyone found a straightforward way of checking these platform UIDs at runtime as well? I know about the EMachineUid method for identifying specific phone models, but for compatibility with future devices it would be better if one could also check for, a generic 'Series 60 2nd Edition Feature Pack 2' device.
