To work with real-time video one needs at least two things - direct access to bitmaps and fast way to get frames from a video camera. To achieve the first goal one needs to keep in mind that Bitmaps are located on a shared heap that needs to be locked before any direct access can safely take place.

N93 is the first Nokia multimedia smartphone with HW accelerated 3D graphics/OpenGL ES 1.1 support. This plug-in enables the full usage of the native 3D graphics features supported in N93.

Here is a way to show an icon on the IndicatorPane of Series 60. You can show an icone near to the battery pane or signal pane, for that you have to customise the code.

Panics for the CImageDecoder API are not (yet) documented in the SDL. Here is a list of possible codes (displayed with the "ImageConversion" panic name).

Bobbee Tec announced today that the Series 60 Mobile version of their DRG 3D Game Engine is now available for licensing to third-party developers and publishers. DRG 3D Game Engine allows quick conversion from PC-based games designed for the Quake or Quake 2 engines to the GBA and Series 60 platform.
