Forum Nokia will stop selling the Nokia Codewarrior during 2008 and supporting it shortly after. The product hasn't evolved for a while and you shouldn't expect any new patches nor updates of Codewarrior. So get prepare to move to Carbide.c++ or buy a couple of extra licenses while it is still time!

Nokia Codewarrior has a dummy but annoying bug: try to enter some text in the "Alternate makmake name" field when importing a MMP file and you won't be able to get rid of it. Each time you will import a new MMP file, you will have to clear manually this field as the text entered will probably prevent the correct import of your project.

The S60 SDK for Symbian OS enables application development for devices based on S60 platform using C++. The SDK is based on S60 3rd Edition platform and Symbian OS 9.1. The SDK includes all key functionalities needed for application development (documentation, API reference, emulator) excluding IDE. This release is a maintenance release (MR) fixing several issues with the emulator and toolchain.

The UIQ v2.1 SDK for Codewarrior contains an annoying bug that prevents to compile any project imported through its MMP file. But the fix is easy: you only need to patch one line...

Forum Nokia has just released a pack that will enable Codewarrior users to enable on-device debugging on their S60 handset. Apply the patch to your CW installation, upload the debug agent to your device and here you go....

Nokia has just released an update of Metrowerks Codewarrior for Symbian OS. The new version 3.1 is available as Personal and Professional editions and brings a few enhancements and bugfixes to the version 3.0 as well as support for latest Symbian OS 9.1.
